Because of the COVID19 pandemic, for their safety, we have stood down our workers. Subsequently, we have reduced capacity provide gardening services to our active customers.
There is no capacity to take on new customers.
We will continue to provide consulting services with respect to edible garden design, construction and maintenance.
We can also still supply and install the BioFilta FoodCubes (raised veggie wicking beds).
When the pandemic is over, we intend to reinstate our workers and will have increased capacity to take on more work.
To ensure the future of this valuable Social Enterprise, we are seeking input as to how to reduce its dependence on Warren, now that he is approaching retirement. We are open to any suggestions.
One is to change to a not for profit with a board and for Warren to become an employee. We need help to make these changes.

Although The Sustainable Gardener is no longer a registered service provider, we are still prepared to work directly with those receiving NDIS support.
As a social enterprise we not only employ people living with disability, some of whom receive NDIS support, but are now increasingly providing household garden maintenance services to others as part of their individual NDIS support plans.
Our intrepid workers now have the opportunity to assist others living with a disability who need help with their gardens.
The financial arrangement is with the customer directly. They receive the invoice from us and pay us within 7 days of the work being undertaken. The customers submit a claim themselves to recover the costs from the NDIS under their plan
We offer concessions for NDIS clients in the form of waiving the initial consult fee of $120 including GST.
